I think it will, tbh. NWHS is a fantastic episode with phenomenal build-up, but didn't answer many questions. It answered ONE question (who the author is). We still don't know who the Author is (as a person), we still don't know what that portal does, we still don't know exactly what happened 30 years ago, etc. I feel like the next episode will answer most of that if not all of it.

Maybe it will, but that could also be a bit much for one episoe, I think. Maybe they'll split it up again or answer some of those questions even later in the story's progress.
