Oneshot is an RPG Maker 2003 Puzzle/Adventure game with unique gameplay capabilities. You, as the player, must guide Niko through a mysterious world, utilizing items, characters, and the environment to progress.
Features:
- Original soundtrack
- Custom graphics
- Unusual gameplay features
- Permanent consequences
This game was made in a month with a few character designs and music tracks made beforehand. Inspirations include Yume Nikki, Link's Awakening, Hyper Light Drifter, and The Little Prince.

so yeah, the game that Mat and I have been toiling over for the past month, for the RPGmakerweb indie game contest!
I did the art and most of the music, Mat did the programming and some of the music. We worked together on dialogue/concepts.

OneShot’s story is fantastic. As someone who values story above all else, I fell in love almost immediately.
But can we talk about the graphics for a moment? Not just that they’re gorgeous, but the overworld being made up of pixels — an art style that most people think is bland — really helps add to the “dying world” feeling.

One year after discovering this game has gone by and I never got over the ending. Is there any way to recieve closure on what happens after Solstice? I know extra songs have been put out, but it is still extremely vague.

Thanks for making this game! The endings had torn me into pieces ;; I absolutely love the "Tamed" feature for the robots and such. That makes you wonder about it til you finally figure it out! This game seriously made me cry harder than Undertale and has a better story (In my opinion). I would love to see more story and such from this game since I am a person that likes to find every detail in stories ^-^

I played this game a few days ago, and it was amazing! The art was awesome, Margin! I got to the end and spent like, half an hour to figure out the answer. I told him to go home, and as soon as I pressed the button, I remember the little girl from the glen's face. So hopeful...
But yeah, the game was seriously amazing.

to anyone who had any issues with the font (which i did as well);
i couldn't read the first password to the computer in the beginning either. i quit the game and restarted it and the code was completely different and readable! the font is sometimes a bit difficult to read but it was relatively easy for the most part. all of the art is gorgeous along with the music and i'm honestly wanting to play this again!

the font the game is using for me is very hard to read, my sister was playing next to me and her's was a lot easier to read, does everyone get different fonts or is it something else happening?
(the first puzzle I couldn't get past because the 6 looked like an 8)

Hello, I am trying to play the game but it only ever gets to the title screen. Then it just says to use the RPG_RTP.exe provided in the download. But I can't find it in the downloaded files. I've looked it up as well but can't find the download for it anywhere online. I really enjoy the game and would like to finish it soon. Thank you.
