Description This is a fan art of Godzilla vs. King Kong from the Heisei era. This was the original plan Toho wanted since 1990. But because the rights between Universal, RKO, Cooper, and Paramount. It wouldn't work out. The next idea was Robo-Kong and another idea was Robo-Kong vs Mechagodzilla. Which would of been epic. But Toho felt he still looked a lot like Kong. Afraid of this, it was replaced with King Ghidorah in the 1991 movie where he did become Mecha-King Ghidorah. And it all would of started with Kong. My vision of Kong and with many is o doubt the 1976 - 1986 King Kong films with its more sinister facial and realism of a giant ape. And These two pictures are SO obvious to put together which looks real honestly. I can see this actually happen. When I heard this, I was heartbroken. The Heisei films are my favorite Godzilla era so having Kong part of it would of been epic. A realistic kong puppet/suit and the 89/91 Godzilla suit. Hell yes. It certainly would of been taken more a serious tone rather than the 1962 one. Yes, the Heisei films got ridiculous by Space Godzilla but it redeem itself with Destroyah.Β

There is is no plot synopsis for what the plot could have been but according to the Toho designer, King Kong would of falling in love with a human scientist who would later convert him into a cyborg. So yeah I was right. It is like the King Ghidorah movie. It does sound very 90s as Kong would face a new upgrade to defeat Godzilla. And it makes me wonder what new powers would Kong have. strength, or weapons to defend himself. I doubt the time travel bit would be in the story before or after GVKG was made. If it did, have a baby ape mutate as Kong. We know Godzilla in this series is a bad guy at this point with Kong as the hero. It's also funny how Kong loves a female scientist which is a nice nod to the original story. I don't know if it would be Miki Saegusa as the love but I'm guessing it would be a new character because the designer doesn't say it's her but refers "a human scientist" so maybe not.

That would make sense. The second would have Godzilla tear Kong apart and the climax takes place in the city of Tokyo once Kong's repaired.

Ooh. Nice. And throughout the film we would see the relationship between Kong and the lead scientist and she discovers him when they first meet him on the island.

Yes, that's what they originally wanted. Kong has a crush on the lead scientist which causes her to help repair him to kill Godzilla.

Well yeah I know that. He also was in the 1962 movie. And the plot does make it sound like he was where he kills Kong at first but the main lead who has a connection to Kong repairs him as a half ape half robot. Basically like Mecha King Ghidora but not aliens or time travel.

Yeah. I think the movie would of ended like the 1991 movie where the two fall in the water together like 1962 and have where we don't know who survived.

Hmm. It could of lead into a spin off with Kong in his own Heisei Era like Mothera. And we would of seen their version of skull Island or something.

Yeah which was why this never happened. But if they did, you know they would of. It's possible he could of or on the other side of the island. I believe that was the same island in Space Godzilla which would followed the question on what happened to him during Destroyah where the island melted. He probably swam or died from the radiation. But if we're going back to the Godzilla Jr bit. Then we would have to believe the armor of Kong was rebuit into Mecha Godzilla if we're pretending Ghidorha wasn't a thing.

Of course. Nothing besides the heart radiation can be strong enough to withstand his powers but I'm just imagine. Pretened GvMG was the same movie replace Ghidorah to Kong wouldn't really be any difference though. And if you remember in the movie MG did a pretty good job taking him down, he nearly killed him if it weren't for Rodan.

Supposedly the idea was that Godzilla would of died and the son live on for a future movie due to Sony making their Godzilla movie in 1994. Once TOHO heard it was taken a while to make the film, the changed the ending at the last minute. Making Space Godzilla a filler movie.

I also like that. But I think they would kept him young so they would keep the doors open for another movie until the Amarican movies conclude with it's third movie. Which would of ended by the early 2000s. Follow where it left off by 1993 and he's already fully grown.

I would argue on that. I love 84Gorji, but I can't see him fighting another monster. It would be like seeing 1954 fight Kong from 1962. It's weird because that Godzilla isn't built to fight. I can see 93 one easily because that one was capable to fight.Β
