Awesome cosplay! The wig is just like the exact shade of red, & the armor looks so cool & the guild mark is so neat (man! that thing is really hard to get right, you did an awesome job to make it look great)
BTW there's something you just need to know (sorry if I bore you with my nonsense Dx ).
Some weeks ago I was cheking your gallery & this image just caught my whole attention (being a sword/armor freak...).
Since at the moment I didn't know a thing about the character nor the series I had to look it up on the internet...
Who would have thought it that 2 months later I would be sitting on an uncomfortable chair watching the weekly anime episode & reading the manga chapter like an obssesed zombie, all thanks to you & your cosplay (guess it was also partly to Gray's sexy back & Plue's cameo appearance), but the real point is that I owe ya a big thanks for introducing me to the awesome world of Fairy Tail.
For that you'll hold my eternal grattitude, so...keep it up, I guess, cause you managed to turn me into a Fairy Tail fan (me, the shonen/long series hater). So, uh, be proud of yourself & I'll keep an eye on you for more Erza cosplay .
Take care & thanks again

Oh, wow! Thank you so much!! It really means a lot to me that you would take the time to comment with your story--PLUS the fact that I got someone into Fairy Tail without even trying means a lot because it's something I love so much. The series really is amazing and has brought so many wonderful people together. (Also, it was definitely Gray that got me into the series, but my male focus has shifted as the story developed!)
Thank you again for commenting!! There will be lots more Erza cosplays coming from me. (And some that aren't even on this site, so if you haven't gone to my ACP yet you totally should--and you can see how I got so much better at making armor!)

Wonderflex and Styrene aren't the same thing, actually! Wonderflex > Styrene by FAR.
My old version was with Styrene; and it can only heat so much without being warped and wasn't as durable. It couldn't curve, either. Sintra was my next step (but it was too rough and bruised me a lot, even though I could heat it more than once without it warping--however, it lost its shape if I kept heating it and I had to start over in shaping it).
Wonderflex is AMAZING and I highly recommend it. I cut it out like a clothing pattern (I rolled clear cellophane/masking tape over my dress form-you could easily do it to yourself-and cut out a pattern when I was done). Wonderflex is also, WONDERFULLY, a self-adhesive. No ugly lines with a glue gun! You can reheat and reheat it and it'll still be strong and durable. In order for it to keep a strong shape, though, you have to put two pieces of cut out Wonderflex around craft foam (so you ultimately use a lot but it is so worth it).
If you need a cheaper place to buy it (if you're interested), I'll link you a good place that ships really quickly! Your armor looks great for Styrene and it would look so much better with Wonderflex! Wonderflex is so easy to work with, too.

I ordered mine from here ! It's actually a decent-sized amount for the price (I was looking around online and there was a good amount less for more $$ and I was like... no). They ship from NH (so for me, in MA, was super fast) but they're very good about shipping either way! Let me know how it goes for you!
