I SAW THIS IN TEH PROCESS Great job! I love the sunflowers so much! Also, the grainy look on top adds such an awesome effect! 'm not sure why, but it makes me think of old photographs with thousands of memories caught in an instant! I guess Apple's mesmerized sparkling eyes add to the effect as well! Another thing I noticed even in the little thumbnail in my inbox was the beautiful blurred background! The grainy effect and your blurring compliment each other so well! I really genuinely like it when people blur their backgrounds without really taking notice to the fancy blur filters photoshop offers The petals on the closest sunflower are beautiful! I love the soft flowing lineart and the beautiful thin highlights which you add even in the dark areas to bring out little... enhancements! And I'm sure you'd have to be blind not to see all the work you put into each and every one of those little seeds in the flower! I also really like the U/O shaped gradient highlight you added on top of the center part of the sunflower I almost forgot to mention that I simple adore the beautiful flowing untity you create with the contrast between light and dark areas! Finally, I'd like to say Apple looks amazing Her green and gray tones are complimented so well with the warm shades of the background, but still, she feels in place! Her shading is magnificent! I really like how the gradients look on her head, it makes it feel in place, not flat, against everything else! And I must say the tail and chest are quite impressive! The chest hair looks so fluffy and three dimensional, and I really admire how your tail takes a more realistic and cute approach than most styles! Wow! I just keep noticing the little details that brings this image all together in all it's stunning-ness! I love the accented linearts in greens, browns and I think maybe a few blacks. All in all, I must say this is the picture that has earned you my final spot in the 'inspiration' area on my page and in my heart

By the way, I really love borders like that, and I also like how your signatures 'carved' out of the white space at the bottom That was probably one of the most lengthy comments I have ever, ever given, and think it is well deserved on your part! Keep going Nifty, I know each and everyone of your watchers are well deserved for someone as great as you!

And finally, I have a question or two for you ^^ What inspires you and gives you ideas to these images? Does it just come to you or do you do detailed sketches? And my last question: I know all artists say the key to success is practice, but what do you personally think, if you believe that's true, aspiring artists searching for their style should practice?
