Description
Since my parents divorced in 1996 when I was nine, I've always seen my mom more than my dad. After all, I lived with her until I was 17 and only saw my dad Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other weekend until I got my driver's license when I was 16. Then my mom moved 60 miles north, and I've lived on my own ever since. Nowadays, my dad lives just a few miles from me, so I see him more often than my mom, but still not as much as I'd like to. He runs his own construction and contracting business and doesn't have a whole lot of time. It'll only be that much harder on me when I ultimately move away from California in a couple years. I won't get to see either of my parents very much anymore, especially since my dad plans to retire to Mexico in several years. I did make a drawing for my mom for Mother's Day, but I printed it out and gave it to her instead of uploading it on here.

I know Father's Day is two weeks away, but I had no other ideas. I've already been pondering and contemplating what it would be like to be a father, for a long time now, knowing full-well I'll most likely never be lucky enough to be one (although I almost accidentally did become a dad once; the condom broke. Don't ever trust those alone.)

So I want to give kudos to all the dads who were able to do what I'll probably never be fortunate enough to, especially at this rate.
