Well, looks like our favorite robot boy is following in the footsteps of Ultraseven and a certain Redman in his brand new spin off show simply called "Sevenger Fight!"

For those unaware, Sevenger Fight is a spin off to the recent Ultraman Z that centers around the adventures of Sevenger, which consisted of him fighting off against various monsters and aliens while STORAGE (the main team of Ultraman Z) commentates on the fights as if it were a wrestling match. Most of the episodes are around 4-6 minutes long and have a noticeably lower budget than the average modern day Ultra show, though the budget for Sevenger Fight is still better than its predecessors Ultra Fight and of course Redman, with the former providing the most inspiration, from the opening title screen, set ups and even references to Ultra Fight with Eleking wielding a gun, as for the latter show, well a leaked magazine scan reveals Sevenger wielding a rather familiar Red Knife.

Anyways, unlike Ultra Fight were its not really canon to the any main Ultra series, Sevenger Fight is a direct continuation to Ultraman Z, with the first 5 episodes taking place in between certain events in Z and starting with episode 6 takes place after the finale. It should also be noted that the show not only marks the return of several monsters who hadn't appeared in any Ultra show after their first (physical) appearance in years such as Jirass, Dancan, Garamon, Gandar and more, but also the return of a certain Ultra who hasn't been seen since Ultraman Geed, whos also the namesake of the show where Sevenger made his first ever appearance, Ultraman Leo, which is rather exciting stuff, the timing was also very fitting since Ultraman Leo will soon appear on Blu Ray in the US.

Oh and one more important thing, Sevenger Fight is a show that's exclusive to a new streaming service called TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION, which is filled to the bone with all that good Ultra content, however there's one caveat, the streaming service does not allow international viewers to sign up onto the site, which is a huge bummer but somewhat understandable. But fear not, on the day Sevenger Fight was announced, the official Ultraman Global twitter did confirm that the show will receive an official international release at some point, also a YouTuber by the name of, "Sam Messenger The ULTRAMAN Official Fan 2021" has been uploading the episodes on YouTube, though it should be noted that there are no subs, chances are Tsuburaya will provide official subs in the future, but hey I'll take what I can get. I'll be sure to provide a link to the playlist below in case you want to get right into the Sevenger goodness.
