Thank you! I loved the way the sunlight reflected back off the petals into the heart of the flower. One of those moments when I'm so glad I'm a photographer!

Thank you so much for your kind words and the fave - much appreciated.
My flower shots are all taken in natural light. I find that this works best for natural subjects and I enjoy exploring the possiblities with a directional light source (the sun!). This shot has a little post-prod digital work to introduce the cooler tones for impact but the light and shade is all due to early evening sunshine.
