Way back in 2002, I visited a friend's house one evening after school; he owned a Dreamcast, which I had never seen at the time. He showed me all of his games, but one game particularly stood out from the rest for me: Phantasy Star Online.

Back then, I had never played a game where you could create your character from scratch. I remember being so amazed by all of the options I had, I spent a LONG time just figuring out what my character would be. In the end, I created a Racaseal with white hair and a black dress and called her ''Aya''. Her outfit reminded me of something I had seen online, a black dress I had seen on a character I didn't know from some sort of card game with cute anime girls. It turned out this card game was ''Leaf Fight'', a game featuring characters from the Higurashi series of visual novels.

A few days ago memories of PSO came rushing back to me and I just felt I had to draw Aya. It's random, it came out of nowhere, but here she is!
