oh my gosh... I hated that... it was fun, but ruined brand new parts that had to replaced again because of the extreme wear...
That race cost me almost a $100 in repairs...

rebuilt: FH, RH, and BB
and burnt through half a brand-new set of Brakepads

I see, i thought it was ball barings... but i didnt know.
Speaking of BB's ever heard of the eye drive? Its for a full suspension bike and its really cool. Just some neat little thing that you could check out in your free time.

I suppose they're nice if you have crazy weird frame geometry... but otherwise it just makes the mechanics angry... *arrg*

Hahaha, i suppose so. One of my friends is building up a frame with it. He had to take out some of the pivites that were never greased for 7 years. We had a hammer going for half an hour. its a GT frame and he has a second one coming in that hes going to splice together.
Our school has a bike shop all its self so you mechanics dont have to worry. Have you worked on them before?

yea i try to do as much of my own as i can. I am still new at it though, things tend to just happen around me though. Its a little bit aggravating but as time goes on i will get the things done right.

lol. if it werent for the brakes i would have said you just threw it in a ditch to take a pic. that would have ben abuse though. in this case id call it art.
how long did it take to clean?

took about an hour to get it clean enough to put in the car.... another four or five hours of re-building everything because mud got in all the bearings...

Bath it in a mud pool? Thats gonna take alot of formula fs-1 to get that off
