Chase comes across very relaxed and laidback, seemingly without any worries. Her attitude towards others is generally very casual, often addressing people in a familiar way, referring to even those older than her as "kid" or "sonny", making her sound many years past her actual age. She seems unphased by most things and doesn't like to meddle in other people's business much, inclined to let people do what they want as long as it's not too morally messed up. Her easygoing attitude makes her overall pretty agreeable to deal with, although (fairly reasonably) some find her to be a little too carefree and casual, seeing her as irresponsible. Regardless, she's not very concerned with her reputation and thinks she does a fairly alright job at overall being a generally pleasant person.

While not completely inconsiderate of others, Chase undeniably values what's in her own interest the most. She's not reluctant to help others, but she is by no means selfless and will only go so far if there's no gain for her. Her attention is fickle and she's not hesitant to drop anything that no longer interests or benefits her; she hates feeling tied down by obligations, and can be lazy when it comes to doing anything she's not passionate about, prone to procrastinating and complaining. On the flip side, she'll happily spend lots of time and effort on things that do grab her interest. She's also not one to ask for help easily as she knows what a hassle it can be, so she generally aims to do everything herself as long as she's capable. History: Originally from a neighboring town, Chase picked up an interest in magic early on, causing her to move to Prima at age 15 to train under a powerful dark mage. She moved in with her mentor and studied diligently every day, eager to learn everything as quickly as possible. Though her tasks were primarily centered around studying and practicing in safe environments, she was allowed to join her mentor on missions now and then once she reached a certain skill level. With her immense passion for the subject and hard work, Chase eventually became rather proficient in certain fields of magic herself - primarily specializing in shadow magic. After turning 20, she stopped being a full-time apprentice as she had become skilled enough in her field of specialization to practice more on her own, but she still visits her mentor frequently so they can track her progress.

Abilities: Chase is a mage specializing in shadow magic, curses and illusions. She knows some fire magic to supplement, but is by far more skilled with shadow magic. Her abilities are primarily damage-oriented, such as casting shadow/fire bolts, siphoning energy from her opponent through drains, creating shadow duplicates, inflicting burns or blinds and the like. The ring on her right hand is used to channel magic, allowing her to cast it solely by use of hands. Despite magic being her primary ability, she's able to summon a scythe for instances where she needs to use a weapon. She's not brilliant with it, but knows how to use it well enough to pose a threat. Her physical strength is nothing too impressive, however, she relies more on stamina and evasion during battle.

Additional Info:

- Enjoys drinking. She frequents the bar in town, and often carries a small bottle around during the day.
- A night owl, Chase tends to go to bed really late, oftentimes close to dawn. She's often somewhat sleep deprived, reflected in the red circles around her eyes.
- Currently makes a living primarily from selling spell scrolls and magic-infused trinkets, but ideally she'd like to join an order of mages in the future.
- The mark on her back is the result of a magic ritual performed to increase her power.
