I noticed that redrawing old paintings has started appealing to me lately. I hope I\ve improved my skill since last year!

Ahh, it's so good to see traditional and benevolent magic on the computer screen!
What I like:
The subject matter- As someone doing a webcomic with benevolent witches in a bakery, this piece caught my eye immediately. It helps that you know how to render a floating girl with attention to details and texture. You've developed her character with precise choice of clothing, revealing bits of domestic personality.
Effective use of light- The magical glimmers fall accurately on the girl, creating a heightened sense of realism for a fantasy piece.
What to think about:
Contrasting strokes- There's a lot of potential to create depth with line weight, especially with the skirt. On the left the skirt overlaps, but the part in the foreground has the same weight as that in the background.
Thicker color for the subjects- In this case I'm referring to the tea crockery because they're white porcelain objects floating in white light. The lack of contrast makes the objects' color seem faded, especially since they have thin line weight. Using thicker washes will also establish objects firmly in the foreground.
I hope you paint more floating and flying watercolors; this one was a pleasure to view
