i like the colors.. i figured it was a chimecho from the colors.
did you purposely not want to add the markings on chimechos face nor added the golden top it has? or did you add those but in a different manner? i know the cloth on her pin (and her kimono?) is from chimecho's cloth thing and her hair color from chimecho's skin color, but i can't pinpoint anything else.

The face marking chimecho has I changed it into giving her pins in her hair. The cloth hanging from it serves as her cheek markings and that long tail thing.
uhh, the golden top chimecho has translated to the rope in her hair (I just miscolored it and didn't end up changing it. but it's like yellow)
I decided to take the long cloth thing out and translate it into her kimono (the red at the end of her sleeves etc) because I didn't want a long piece of fabric dragging behind her that goes LOOK A CHIMECHO and yuh it translated into her pins.
annddd yis! you're right, the blue is from Chimecho's skin color when I noticed it was blue and not white.
When I design a pokemon I try not to make the design obvious or anything but I don't wanna make it too hard to figure out. <': so it's good you can tell she's a chimecho.

i figured the rope was the golden top, well maybe not right away but since that seemed to be the main 'gold' color on her that woulda been my guess.
and aha~! i almost thought blush near her eyes/cheek was the markings but since they weren't zig-zaggy i wasn't sure. nice move with the pins!
but yeah u did a good job in translating her to a human form w/o the total obviousness. i think the colors really helped and it worked out well with the design you had.
