Description Again I found some great pictures on bokt.nl from someone that asked for her horse to be drawn. I couldnt choose betweeen 2 poses so I asked her if I could use them both and make one of the horses a different horse.
Ofcourse she said , and asked if maybe I could paint one of them their other horse. So I did .

The left one is a Welsh type pony, the original from the photo's, the right one is their other horse, I used an image of the pony for the pose and a few others of the horse to make the pony into a horse .
Background is made up with a little help of one of the photo's where the horse was on the beach.

The original file is 30x60cm at 300dpi, so quite big. The image is actually very rough and I'm still not really sure if I should refine it or keep it as it is.

aww gotta get a tablet myself!

have you ever tried adobe elements? I've had photoshop cs3 but never had the chance to try it out for creating, and elements that I have now is more of a manipulating programme, so don't know if I'm missing out on features, is the cs3 best in your opinion?

I don't really know Elements so I don't know about the differences. I only use 1 brush, change the settings for it a bit and thats it. I have used Photoshop 7 for a long time, Now I use CS3 and at work I just got CS4. So far I prefer CS3, but it's just what you are used to work with I think .

I used to work with the cs series but only for photos, I guess I'll have to be brave and less lazy and try it out for creating myself to see the differences

I think you're right though, use what you know best

anyway your gallery is brilliant keep it up
