Shading vegetation and anatomy is difficult...Nonetheless, I appreciate the result. The messy, messy result. xP

Even though I haven't been posting much in the last couple of months, I still sketched a lot and I'm glad it resulted into some sort of improvement. (I also have a big love for drawing male characters now and I regret not starting drawing them sooner xP)

Yeah it's the detailing that always gets me, it really reminds me of Yoshitaka Amano's work in a way (look it up if you can!)

You're so right. xP I have no idea why this happens but at least I'm glad someone understands.
Even though I still try to draw females once in a while to not get ''rusty'' at it.
(I looked it up and everything's so, so beautiful <3 And yeah, I can see a little bit of resemblance in the details.) I can't help it sometimes and just keep adding stuff and more stuff to the drawing during the process.

Your mom might not be completely wrong but I'm sure there's much more into it. In my case, I assume, it may be because I drew so many females throughout the years that drawings males now is more exciting because it's something new and it opens a lot more possibilities. xP
The details are not as painstaking as they appear to be and, I dare to say, they're actually fun to make. xD I'm glad they're worth it!
I still have so much to learn. I still struggle a lot but I'm SLOWLY getting there... I hope to improve more.
Any specific kind of drawings (like objects, scenarios, etc...) or you can just fill it in with whatever you enjoy drawing most? .-.
