These pictures were taken on last Friday Nov. 16th. Nobody knew the weather would turn out that bad. That day I thought I would never make it home at all. I thought I would stuck in the city forever. The road just covered with layers of snow and the snow trucks couldn't show up in time to put salt or push snow away. Nobody expect to be this bad. I was stuck at one intersection on 3rd Ave and East 55th Street for at least an hour by not moving an inch. Everyone around me are losing patience and I never hear so many car horn blowing at the same time. It was so irritating.ΒWhy the heck I was out working? Well, I was desperate to bring some money home since I was losing money for almost two months. No matter how bad the weather is, I got to make money. Since these cab drivers can do it, I can do it too. I got to face these dangers from time to time in order for me to make money.

I like the snow, but when it comes to driving, it is a pain in the ass as I know from living in Minnesota my whole life.

It's interesting how America's east coast seems to often get these early snowfalls, while here we haven't really had any snow yet in northern Europe, once again. Not that I have anything to complain about that.

From where I live, Bronx Community College is a 25-minute ride on the Bx3. Conditions were so bad that the busses weren't running. I had to WALK to class. Why classes were not canceled is a mystery for the ages.

Looking at those photos made me remember the time living in the city as it locked down in a wild blizzard just a few years back.
