Hey what color is the back plume of your Entei? I have a giant one too but his back plume is yellow and not greyish blue like the other plushes. Also what does his back leg tag say? Mine says 2001 Pokemon USA, Inc. I'm just trying to make sure mine is/isn't a bootleg. Please help if you can!

My sincerest apologies for not replying to your inquiry sooner! The tush tag saying 2001 is accurate, as mine says the same. It could be that yours wasn't stored in a safe area of the previous owner's home, hence the back plume being discolored. :c My Suicune plush has a bit of the same problem along the underside of its plume, where it's browning instead of staying magenta. I hope this helps!

No problemo. :] But yes, it's rather unfortunate that rare items like these weren't properly taken care of by the people who owned them previously. I doubt I would ever sell mine, but I try and keep them in the same condition as they were in when I got them so that any possible future owners can enjoy them as well.

I took some time yesterday to go over my entei to see if he had any ripped seams holes or stains and I found that underneath his back plume was still blue. So apparently his back was sun bleached. Other than his spines he's in perfect condition and maybe some day I can find a truely perfect one and switch him out.

*nods* I suspect that's what happened with my Suicune as well on its underside (of the plume, that is). I certainly hope you're able to locate one that's in pristine condition!

No time at all! It was from a line of giant 1/1 scale plushies sold at the Pokemon Center in NYC years ago. It's been closed for several years now, but these plushies still float around on auction sites periodically. And that's how I came about getting this Entei. :3
