Description
This is my contest entry for 's contest. Her contest is a free draw of her original character Heinaus.I drew Heinaus fighting Spyro and Cynder as they pass through this volcanic area. This is how I pictured them fighting, well, pre-fight
The real fight I would have drawn but this image kept coming into my head and I couldn't draw Spyro in a battle stance to save my life for some reason so I drew this instead Sorry for the crappy color!
I didn't have any matching colors for Heinaus so I had to blend and mix colors together and it looked like crap but I was almost done so I went with it Tools used: 3B and HB shading pencils, blenders, color blender (custom) colored pencils and a 5mm mechanical pencil.
Well its like 3:25 in the morning here... stayed up coloring this... my wrist freaking hurts right now
maybe I should go to bed

I think it's good! Plus Heinaus's colors are hard to do as a traditional drawing <.< But I think it fits really well with the bg!

Thanks! Yeah... they were hard to get. Had to put a layer of rose then light purple plus blend to get a nice shade for her. Even at that it needed a tone adjustment. Spent 10 minutes just trying to find a color for her ._.

try the dawn of the dragon website for a battle stsnce they have a good one on that.

I always try to draw from my head rather then from references, though they are helpful as hell
