quality of the pic could be alittle bit better, and i dont like the serif font , and id and title are a bit hard to read, maybe if u move the whole type and lines abit more into the water and just leave a little part of the rocks on the bottom it would work better, all in all it looks sweet

I don't understand the comments that people are giving regarding the style, and how it isn't suitable for the overflow group. Styles evolve, and this is part of that. Also, I wouldn't think that overflow has a particular "style" anyway.
The colours are nice though, but I don't think that there's enough contrast between the text and the lighter colours in the foreground of the pic. I do like the typography and layout though, makes a nice change from the more rigid fonts that i'm seeing a lot of recently.

Thanks for your crit! I dont know if overflow has any "style" anymore, or if it ever had.. You difenitely have a point about that.

I think the pic is too noisy. Maybe it's just my settings, but i can count the waterdrops from the water that hits the rock, and they are all less or more rectangular.
Have you manipulated the pic in any other way except colored it? If not, I think you should. Maybe a bit haze from top to the middle, to take away a bit of the noise and add a illusion of depth.
I also think that you should never stop use your small texts in your pics. It's a little detail that make me recognize your pics among others. Just don't size the texts down so it's unreadable, like everybody else do X(
Fortsätt med de härliga bilderna!

i think you nailed the colors the tan really contrasts well with the blue. I agree with the deskography comment, i think this would make a nice addition.

It's very nice, but again it is a bit too hard to read (although I'm a big fan of those sort of designs with subtle shades) and personally doesn't seem to be the sort of style I'd expect of overflow... In a way yes it is, but i see a more robust design with solid colors. This design looks great in some aspects, and if used and viewed right it would look fantastic... but I'm not sure if it's universally applicable.

It's very nice, but the typo isn't enough contrasted with the general colour of the background picture.

a little too much going on for a splash page i think, this would have been nice in the Desktopography collection [link]
