Size: 11-15 meters
Description: The largest limnoscelids, it lived during the Late Dracozoic to the Middle Saurozoic period. Unlike Limnoscelis, it had large armor and claws and armor allowed it to move effortlessly through the water. It was predominantly a fish eater, waiting on the bottom of the lake and snapping at any fish passing by. Fossil evidence also shows that they fed on small drakes and dinosaurs. It lived primarily in the deeper rivers and lakes and most likely hunted like crocodiles, where they would wait for animals to cross the water and they are then grabbed and dragged below. It went extinct due to competition with other aquatic carnivores.
