Description Just bought some polychromos, so this drawing is my first drawing with both copics and polychromos (and some acrylic airbrush). More a picture for practise, but it was fun to draw

Ooh nice! Ger lite intrycket av ett gammalt bokmΓ€rke med den fΓ€rgpaletten i kombination med texturen och en del av stilvalen

Your works are always wonderful! It's so neat, and I really like that you often use airbrush to your bacground...
When you do airbrushing the background, do you mask the main object with masking fluid or masking film? And what compressor? I really interested to try airbrushing my background artwork (start by using copic abs) Β

Thanks I mask the whole picture with masking film. I'm not sure what kind of compressor I use, it's some model from the swedish company "Biltema"

Oh I see.. What brand and type of masking film did you use? I read in many forums that many people have a problem when using masking film onto their paper, they said the film leave oily residue on the paper and often rip the paper when it's lifted, is it ever happen to you? Your main object always looks fine, like you don't have any trouble with the films...
Sorry I ask many questions , I really want to learn airbrushing and using masking film (usually I use masking fluid, and I felt it's really mess and always damaged my brushes Β

Not sure what brand the masking film is from, I tried to check , but it's no name on it. But I bought it from some airbrush-shop. I think it works nice, I have no problems with oily residue, but another kind of brand I bought once, was riping the paper of. THAT'S annoying XD but I don't remeber the name of the brand of that maskingfilm either. Thou I think both brands are swedish I buy a lot of diffrent maskingfilms and normaly they seems to be of the same quality and I haven't noticed any diffrences between the films actually. It also depens on what kind of paper u use.The thinck ones is easier to use with maskingfilm then the thin ones

Hey it's me again , I saw your other work when you use acrylic paint for airbrushing your background, did you use common brand of airbrush paint? And is it transparent? Some people told me to use airbrush paint Aeroflash from Holbein brand...

Oh, thanks for the info, really helpful... From my interview with some artists, I decide to try masking film from Original brand, they sold in many countries and they told me it's really good for masking on illustration paper
