Description The colour version of the mini waterfall at Kimmeridge, Dorset, UK.

I was really enthusiastic about the chance to finally get some shots of the waterfall being active but now looking at the shots... somthings not quite right. Might be the messy foregroud of god knows how much rotting seaweed ruining the scene in most of the shots.

its not near me lol. Kimmeridge is around 50-60 miles away. I always knew this one was there BUT in the three years i've been shooting this is the FIRST time its ever been active. It takes a lot of rain to fill the cravass at the top so that it starts flowing.

My mate jake whos been visiting kimmeridge for absolutly years never even knew it was there lol. Just got lucky - probably won't ever see it again

I love them both-- only thing I might point out is that I can see your shadow in the foreground. The shadow isn't terrible, but it kind of takes a little glisten out of the rocks in the foreground. Maybe a timer would help?

Beautiful photographs, though! And great composition-- that hard work paid off!

my shadow? Wheres thats?? I'm always 150% critical of ensuring my shadow is no where in sight! I can't see it?

It may not be your shadow, but the three large stones in the front & center seem much darker than the other stones around them-- you can see the reflection of the sky (the blue tones), but not the direct sunlight on them (all of the yellow-er light on the stones around them). Just an observation. All of your work is beautiful, but I just thought I might comment/elaborate on a comment someone left I think on the monochrome one.

yeah the foreground rocks are darked, but their a different type of stone to the others. Theres really weird geology at kimmeridge - so many different types or stone and rocks lol.

I don't think thats my shadow casting though - I think there was probably some bigger rocks in the front that are out of frame casting it. either that or i've burned the area slightly in PS but can't remember what I did now. Its usually pretty minimal. thanks tho!

I have to say I prefer this one to the mono version hun. It got more interest, especially in the stones in the foreground. xxx
