One thing, i feel compelled to say, some areas seem over-retouched, such as the back leg and the shadowed area of his face. They look almost animated. If this is intended, i apologize.

well the plastic thing is sort of intended. i went for that in this entire photoshoot.
the funny thing is that the back leg is the most unairbrushed part of the pic.
i have no ideea why it looks so waxy. i guess it's the weird lighting i used.

I really didn't know what you were going for, so i am glad it sounds like i wasn't shooting too far in the dark.
That is strange though, what probably would help is editing around the calf muscle, where there is that change in tones. That is what drew me to it.
But at the same time it is so miniscule. Perhaps i am just a little bit picky today.
