Description A Premium Commisison for possibly my very oldest watcher on here ever, the very sweet
an artist who has put up with me since my very first account on this site~!

She asked for an autumnal scene with her mare, Sugar! She obviously really treasures her horse, so I hope I did her justice!

This is definitely one of my favorites out of your works. I just really like the color scheme with the shades of blues and orange.

MY WORD.

What IS this magic that has shown up in my inbox on this fine morning?!?! This is even more beautiful than what I had imagined!!! The background even looks like a place we ride, and the trees, and the pond, and of course Sugar herself, it's absolutely stunning!! I can't thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!
-FYI, that's exactly what Sugar does with water when we approach it. Then she leaps over it as I scream in terror.

I had LOADS of fun painting it, and it was so nice getting to practice horses! I'm glad it came back to me so naturally, seeing as I haven't drawn a horse in years! Beautiful creatures, indeed!

I make sure I can pick up just about any animal and get it right, that way my work isn't stifled by my not being able to draw an animal for them. Also, if I ever want to do a children's book of animal stories, maybe Aesop's Fables, I need to be able to draw just about evrything

Ahaha, truuueee. Well its really amazing that you put the effort out to be versatile with all species - most artists tend to focus on one or a few. I wish I could, but every time I try to draw something other then a wolf or a dog it ends up looking like a dog-horse or a dog-rabbit. xD!

ooh gosh I used to be the same way!
The thing is, you just have to FORCE yourself to keep drawing them until, eventually, without even realizing it, you come to be so comfortable with them that you love drawing them as much as you love drawing your favorites!
