Would it be weird if I said I liked the bulge of the hindleg? >.> I haven't seen that in a while. Its very... old? But not in that overused way, in the good kind of way like in the ancient dragon-drawing books. Its creative. Yeah. I'm sorry, I'm not good with words LOL.

I seriously just died a little inside. I died a lot. ;_;
THE COLORS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. They just jump off the screen! The jade green and slightly turquoise work wonderfully together. And shading is also really wonderful! Lovely lines as well! This makes me want to draw my asian red dragon who needs an update.
Your art always seem so organic and real, if that makes sense. And it has depth and emotion and texture and life! I can see the connection you have with your art.
I want to find that connection with my art! It's a bridge that I'm looking for in the middle of a forest... Sometimes I feel so close! Other times not.
FFFFF i'm babbling on. Long comment is long!

NO ENNAI DON'T DIE.
EVEN A LITTLE
ON THE INSIDE.
BECAUSE ILU.
AHHHHH
I so hoped the colors and subtle changes in tone would stand out more with the bright white backdrop! I rarely leave my BG's completely blank, but I thought it would best bring out this particular character!
NO WAY
You aren't babbling!
I understand what you mean!
really, the trick is to understand how your brain works! If you think the same way all the time ("I just don;t feel my art anymore; I can't find connection;oh boy another art block") eventually your brain gets "stuck" in a neural rut, happy to slide into a well-worn pattern of thinking.
To get over this, just TRAIN THAT BRAIN to think differently! Break the old pathways of thinking by building new ones!
One great exercise for this (well, that works for me) is to grab a big bucket of kiddo's sidewalk chalk, take it out front to the sidewalk, and scribble ANYTHING that comes to mind! It's so liberating, because you're just sitting there, doodling whatever you please with no one judging you or expecting anything of you! Pretty soon, if you allow yourself to just be a kid again, and get lost in drawing the way you used to as an uninhibited child, you will e completely engrossed in what you're doing, and suddenly-
art is fun again!
You must try it!

I haven't used a white background in ages!
I always feel the compulsion to fill it with something, even if it's just a textured background. lD
Hmmm, you put it wonderfully! I don't have chalk, but I do have jumbo crayons!
There's something I've always wanted to do; I want to paint a humungous canvas! A huge one! Just me in an empty room or fancy studio or someplace quite with a huge blank canvas and an array of paints. It would be so much fun!
But I love your advice. Thank you so much! You're always helpful and inspirational. ;w;
FFFF ILU NETTLE. KLJZFHiGbnk ohmygosh I just remembered something! My imaginary friend that I had when I was younger.
I don't know how it just came to me! Well maybe because I kind of drew him without realizing it... But he was a red dragon! He was created after I read Eragon for the first time lol.
GAH. SEE. I AM BABBLING.

Ahaha, white background or very light, slightly textured background are great too.
I'll have to see if I have anything that would look good with a white background! c:
Oh my god yes! I would love to do that!
Even if it's vandalism lol. But it would be so much fun!
I WOULD DO IT.
If the two of us ever met, like at a devMeet or something, we would probably paint the whole city haha.
