Looking at your snakelord I just had to make a background story for him.

Hiss Ha'tet , snake lord, & master of the shadow realm.
Abel to turn people into humanoid snake slaves with his staff full of demon snake shadows & can use shaddows in a magical way. Portals, tranformation, creation.
Ha'tet wants to turn the world into a peacefully place & end all war & violence by turning everyone into a controllable humanoid snake. Still containing the human will & mind but unable to commit violence, except in immediate self preservation.
Ra' the sun god didn't like Ha'tet's methods of piece, so he distroid Ha'tet's body & sealed his sole in his own staff.
Along comes this kid, (Jeff), takes a hold of Ha'tet's staff, & with Ha'tet's powers of persuading , looks into his eyes & asks to barrow his body for a sort time.
Finding out what Ha'tet is about to do Jeff try's to take back control of his now transformed body. Unable to do so Jeff try's to use Ha'tet's demon shadow snakes to hold him down to make a better arrangement of body sharing.
