UH yeahHe has rabies but he cant die
He attacted/was attacked a small dog that was infected with it because he was trying to protect his owner(toddler) at the park.
The parents thought he killed it because he was agressive, so the dad took him and threw him in the trunk of his car(before the rabies kicked in) and took a long drive out to the country and dumped him at an abandoned farm to shoot him. But buck attacked him because of the rabies finally kicking in, so he missed and ran buck away. the father gave up because he was bit and he was far way from the hospital and didnt want to waste his time. And buck ran and ran to find his owner, but due to the infection he could never find his way home. So he wanders endlessly through the woods trying to find him...
