Carol Danvers is the seventh person to carry the name Captain Marvel. Before her it was the Kree Soldier Mar-Vell, an alien from the planet Hala. She has a wide range of powers, including energy manipulation and flight. She is often a member of the Avengers. Carol is also a trained pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and sometimes pilots Quinjets to her missions.
