Catching up on some uploads haha

This is an old OC of mine, Jolt. The last time I drew her was 4 years ago, and I remember her hair being a NIGHTMARE to draw when I was still very much learning and not very good at art in general. So, I challenged myself to try and draw her again and see where the improvement has brought me. I was pretty happy with this one~

She was initially created as an RP character. All that’s really known about her story so far (she wouldn’t be my character if there wasn’t gunna be more depth to it XD) is she was struck by lightning in a freak accident and became able to harness the power of electricity. She’s just kinda been stumbling through a few weeks of trying not to set her house on fire from using toasters or accidentally killing people by touch as she’s been trying to learn how to control it.
For a very long time I dropped writing anything about her until and I started writing a thing with Jolt and her character– a dude that’s lived with similar electrical powers for his entire life and is a little more jaded to it, being that he was a human experiment for it. We just kinda threw them at eachother to see what would happen and so far, it's been pretty entertaining.

The nerds' got terrible social skills but definitely knows how to keep his powers under wraps, Jolt... is often a ball of anxiety because she can't control her powers-- but is trying to teach the boy how to function as a normal human being and enjoy more of the mundane things in life that he didnt exactly get to experience after being experimented on. XD;
