Description A pool of starfish in Smugglers Cove. I was surprised at how many were there, I figured the high population of tourists would have left few of them around. I guess I'm used to the east coast where there aren't too many of these things.

Beautiful colours! I absolutely love them against the dark of the rocks and the wet environment is very appealing. Wonderfully done shot!

Thank you very much! It was a bit challenging trying to frame the shot because there were a bunch of little kids splashing around just behind the rock!

Me too! I was really fascinated by them since it was my first time seeing them on a beach... I grew up on the east coast and if there were any around I never saw them!

I have never seen one outside the zoo... They don't live inside the continent, unfortunately!
