Yeop, a program called a sharpie marker.. Lol. Honestly it is a pain in the ass but I think anyone with some artistic skill should try this at least one in their life... It turns out really good in the end and it really teaches patience...
The concept is basically this: In the darker parts of the picture the points will be closer together and with gradients, as it get lighter the points will get further away from each other and disperse..

I can barely play tic tac toe, so I can't really try point drawing any time soon, but maybe one of these days, lol...ok maybe years....xD. Sounds simple enough, that explanation is how some of my high school buddies tried to explain to me a long time ago.
