Wonderful textures and composition and i love the dark hole of the open windowthing. Gives a sense of depth you would otherwise lose.

So, when I saw this, I thought of William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying. The hole reminded me of the cover illustration, and then the title of your piece made me think of the slow deterioration of the health of the dying woman. The building there looks like it needs a little TLC. ^_^ Nice framing.
