"He's kinda cute..." a blonde boy said to a very pale boy. "What do you think, Near?"
"He's ok." Near said.
"Alright everyone! Snack time!" the day care lady said, clapping her hands together.
Mello got up to get his snack as well as the new boy's and then went over to where he was coloring.
"Um, hi." he said. "I brought you a snack."
"Thank you." the red haired boy said, taking his snack.
"I'm Mello. What's your name?" the blonde asked, sitting down.
"Matt." the red replied, drinking his juice. "I see you at the park sometimes."
"Really? I don't think I've seen you outside of here before..." Mello replied, eating his cookie.
"Yeah. I always wanna play in the sandbox with you but, my mommy says not to talk to strangers."
"Oh. My mommy says the same thing." *insert awkward moment of silence here*
"So um...." Matt started to say.
"I like you." Mello blurted out, covering his mouth afterwards, blushing.
"What? Really?" the red haired boy asked, blushing as well. Mello just nodded. Matt hugged the blonde and smiled. "Well I like you too!"
"Hooray!" Mello said happily.
"And one day, we can get married!" Matt said, kissing Mello on the cheek.
"Yep."
And so, that is how Matt and Mello truly fell in love. In a day care center.
