Description
This is Klaymen. He's from a 1996 dreamworks puzzle game made out of clay called the Neverhood . It's cool. And that blue thing he's poking with the stick is one of those sheep-like characters in the background. In the game that house to the left has a wheel in the center of the room and it is is also on a large pole because it is supported from the bottom of a short cliff. When Klaymen twists the wheel the house spirals down and while three of the sheep get out of the way the fourth stays there and get's mooshed. and on seeing so a sheep that survived regurgitates. Which is quite funny. But I couldn't be bothered drawing more than one. So this pic is kind of an add-on to that cutseen. Yay.Time taken: My guess would be about 5 hours

replaying this game, the way that these people made the animations interact in the environment is jaw dropping, especially for the time it was released.

the neverhood was the best game i have ever played! damn that game was amazing. i too need to get myself a copy of it, as the one i had got scratched into two pieces before i even got to finish the game!

You don't remember the spinning house? Aww.. that's the coolest part. It's in the same part of the neverhood as the red-eye pyramid on a stick that says " Ooohhh.. it's yoouu! ...Go away!". But anyhow..
Yeah the music rocks big time. I wanna get the soundtrack, but it's pretty impossible to get an official un-opened one. Especially when you can't get it on ebay due to lack of creditcard

No, they did have plans to make a neverhood 2 but sadly they didn't have enough ching-ching to finish it.
And yeah, the chronicles are way cool. I'm just too impatiant to be bothered reading the whole lot.

Check Ebay. I believe there was a few un-opened copies of it aswell as an un-opened copy of the soundtrack ( I so want that ;_; ) last time I checked.

Anyway, what I wrote before that didn't make it...As far as I know in ACT, you don't need to provide evidence that you can animate. You just attend an interview and present a portfolio of works. However for some places, they ask you to attend a drawing session. It might work the same way in QLD, but I don't really know ^^;
Onto the pic: this is interesting! I haven't heard of this game before, but from what I can see here it looks good ^^ Love the CG and you did it in Open Canvas?! o_o There are so many things I can learn from you.
