Well.....it was more of a experiment ,then a drawing .For U to understand what it all about ,....I'll say this way ....the papirus/codex ( oh how it is called ) U see in the drawing is actually the real paper burned .....Its an A3 paper ,as u can actually see in the middle over there the two pieces placed together
I've just placed thoese two parts with Photoshop ,darken a little and fill the white area ....
Oh and the writing is in latin and are some words from Marcus Tullius Cicero
No reference was used for this one and took about 4-5 days cause i wasnt in the mood for drawing

haha I don't remember very well, I was a children... but I think the paper fell on the floor! it burnt a small part of the carpet.
My mom saw and became furious with me!

okay I try now!! This looks amazingly real.. but in a very special way. Not real in our reality but like in the world of a fantasy book. I really have to think about something like that. I have the diea this is a stilllife form one of those fantasy worlds where everything is like hundreds of years ago but with dragons and elves and everything like that. And this lets the viewer think about from who this workplace might be.. a melancholy peot.. a monk, a young woman..
not to speak how you drew it.. thats what I am still speechless about.. are you professional?
And I guess the green adds a lot of sphere... and the burned bron towns make this even more interesting and mysterious!!

Now ...your oficially the first person who actually writes me not a comment but a short glimpse the result from the drawing wich I drawn .....I allways like to hear others opinion about what they can also see behind some blank or whats spots ....or what can their imagination interpret when looking and a drawing ...
Thoese are some nice words ,and really ,is making me to draw more ...

OMG!! I love this one to. You are so talented. Again the detail you put into your artwork is just amazing. I especially love the detail on the feather and the curled end of the piece of paper. What I like the most about this piece is the way you did the lighting from the candle. LOVE IT!!
