Watercolor, 2017. Old Town, Stockholm, Sweden.

I know she's an artist,
But I don't know her name.
She has her apartment,
not far away.

I pass by her window,
at the stairs home from work.
I see how she's working,
with colors and brush.

I see in her eyes,
that she lives for her art.
Only wish I could meet you,
and share all my thoughts.

Then one cold dark eve,
she looked down at me.
Her window was open,
it was open to me.

She said "hey, I've finished",
"shall we go for a walk?"
We met by your door and
you showed me your art.

We walked around town,
and lost track of time.
Just continued to talk,
just continued our walk.

And words became magic,
they lit up our souls.
United our hearts,
under the shimmering stars.
