If there are any retro sonic fans out there like me, they will know that Amy has changed A LOT since her debut in sonic CD. I do miss the old Amy. She was so cute! She had a bow and a ruffle dress and everything! She even had normal spikes so she looked real cute with sonic. It was a classic. Then I guess sega wanted to be more “modern” and completely changed her. Thus does include her name. Did you know her name used to be “Rosy the Rascal”? yup yup, all of those sonic fighter fans are nodding right now. Really there was no explanation that I know of why they did this (if anyone knows other than to moderate, please do tell me the story. Im interested). And if theres one thing that drives me insane, it’s not figuring out something. So, I thought up of a really cute story line featuring amy and her sister (cough fan chara cough) about her new makeover.
This was actually just a practice with a side view drawing. Turned out OK, but the face still taunts me. gotta practice some more. Anywho, im starting this thing where im drawing what I daydream. I will draw a scene in my head what I usually daydream about (a random part in my story) and then write about it. You don’t have to read it, but it would be nice of ya (even if it’s a boring one, I try to make it cute)

Do note I say fur instead of quills just out of bad habit, just play along with me.

“Are you sure about this?” asked a dark pink hedgehog that looked unsure about her sisters plea.
“yeah!” she grinned, “I want a new look since we are going to the city!”. She grabbed a magazine and flipped through it until she found the one that pleased her. “how about this one?”
“you want it that short?” she asked a little shocked her sister would want to cut off that much.
“yeah! It’s cute!” she turned around in the seat joyfully “and I wanna impress my boyfriend!”
Fuchsia giggled, “well he’s not your boyfriend yet.” She rubbed her hand on her head messing it up slightly, “You’re only 9 for Pete’s sake.”
“I know,” she sighed, “but sonic saved my life!” she turned back around signaling her that she was ready for the furcut. “it was destiny!”
“Whatever you say…” Fuchsia grabbed the scissors and slid them through Amy’s bright pink fur. The snip that only took 3 seconds seemed to be hours. The loud click of the blades slowly closing in on her fur caused it to retreat to the ground, slowly like a feather. Amy watched with the corner of her eye as it landed on the ground.
Fuchsia had to keep reminding amy to stop moving her legs anxiously since she did have very sharp scissors in her hands.
Soon as the process looped, she was finished with the masterpiece, and she shone a mirror to her little sister who squealed in excitement.
“It’s PERFECT!” she jumped out and hugged her older sis, “I LOVE this!”
“You’re welcome darling” she smiled warmly at her.
“This style really matches my new dress!” she posed in her new red dress she got today in front of the mirror.
Fuchsia left the room temporarily and returned with something in her hand.
“Accessories is what makes the outfit” she reminded and placed a red head band on Amy. “This used to be mother’s head band.” She announced with a sigh, “it was the only thing I retrieved from her before she passed away…red was her favorite color.”
The little girl gasped in awe. She softly placed her paw on her new head band and didn’t want to take it down. “I will never take this off!”
Fuchsia brushed her fingers though Amy’s fur holding back those tears she had for many years; however, one escaped secretly when Amy wasn’t looking.

I wrote this like 12 am because I fell asleep about 8 and woke up at 11 and couldn’t go back to sleep. It really annoyed me. I did all of this while my internet was down (well the drawing I finished earlier today, I meant the description)
OH PLEASE I BEG OF YOU HELP ME! (I will post this in my journal again) MY FAN CHARACTER NEEDS A NEW OUTFIT, LIKE NOW! Idk why it’s so hard. I HATE the outfit she has on now, and the outfit before that. Ugh, I hate clothing designs on characters.
