I made this picture for a German fanfiction author named Galax. I love his fanfiction!
It starts short after the last TV episode of "Gargoyles" and consists of 6 parts (the 6th part is not ready yet). His own Gargoyle charakter is named Anastasia. She becomes Lex' mate at the beginning of the fanfic. I had promised to draw for his fanfiction some weeks before I got to know the MGC topic for February 2004 (fanfic illustrations) but as the picture was perfect for the contest, Galax and I decided to let it take part.
It was my very first work with Photoshop. If I had to do it again, there were some things, I'd change, especially the background. I love the moon (Galax had made and used it in some of his pictures before. As I had no idea for the background at all, he allowed me to use it) but I think, I did not use it good enough^^
BTW: Galax is also a fan artist and I tried to bring in his style of drawing a bit because I drew for his fanfic

Really great piece! I love Anastasia's skin color and her looks and her clothes and her pose... I like everything about her! The moon's really pretty too, you used perfect colors, and Lex looks pretty badass.
You wouldnt happen to have a link to this story, would you (and maybe translated into English? I dont think two years of high school German could help me read a fanfic in German ^_^

I'm afraid, there is no English translation for this story at the moment. I cannot translate it mayself as it has ... I think 7 parts with about 100 pages each ^^° Ther German version of the story should be aviable here: [link]
The first part is Gargoyles - Steinhauer, th3e others are numbered. is the author. His English is not very good but maybe he can give you a summery of the story - in english or in easy German.

Naja.. ich bin übermächtoig stolz drauf, das eine so geniale künstlerinn meine bescheidene figur gezeichnet hat, und das auch noch so echt

das erste mal, als ich das gesehen hab, dacht ich echt es sei von galax *g*aber bei genauerem hinsehen sieht man die unterschiede schon 
blöd, dass ich sein fanfic nie gelesen hab.. anastasia kenn ich nur von n paar bildern... trotzdem hübsch
