beautiful composition. I like the b&w choice and how the tones fades darker to lighter in the sky.

That's a beautiful shot, the b&w it gives it such an older feeling.

woow so big three... i love the reflection.... why ir? if you turn it into black and white?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

neoloonatic In reply to sigpras [2007-02-21 08:56:12 +0000 UTC]

there are two ways to handle ir-photos, with false colors or black and white. the black and white ir-pictures are much different to normal b&w conversion (besides the 'snow-effect' of green areas)

yes, i know it, but... i can say.. if this photo would be more great with colors, isn't it?

I have the same filter. Your shots are way better though! When you monochrome them do you use the channel mixer? I also need a tripod super bad!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

neoloonatic In reply to qmorley [2007-02-19 19:38:55 +0000 UTC]

i think it's nearly impossible to make ir-shots without a tripod (exept for having a special modified camera)
i shoot only raw-files, so i already desaturate them with adobe camera raw, there i can adjust the brightness, contrast and some other values too. then there's only a little work to do in ps.
