Description Dogs bark in the distance
A nearby street lamp highlights
the cracks in the dashboard.
smooth as silk voices
singing of love gone wrong
barely audible
on the radio.
the scent of his cologne
surrounding me.
An almost perfect situation
except
he does not belong to me.
In a few hours
I'll never see him again.
Nothing can be seen
through the fogged up windows.
The pressure of his hand
on the back of my neck
or the taste of my lip gloss
on his lips
will be known by no one.
But us.

Its beautiful, almost sad, yet at the same time almost seductive. Well written!

...reminds me of a weird post-modern meeting at night/parting at morning scenario...

interesting

Excellent. Fragments, indeed, because the memory chooses certain items and discards the rest as background noise to the plot of our decisions. Very, very well done.

as amazingly powerful it is, the sadness of the forbidden nature of it overwhelms me as I reread this. You did a wonderful job.
