I didn't take very much non-portraits, out of preferences at the time. Plenty of people took full body shots though. I would keep a look out on her dA, there's already a lovely full body one there by a good photographer friend of ours.

Nice picture. I especially like the location. Many cosplayers don't factor in backgrounds when showing off costumes.
Did you make the costume yourself? Despite it's simplicity it looks like it could be something authentic you'd purchase at a store.

It is not me and not my costume - the girl wearing it made it. She's a great cosplayer and totally better at seam-stressing than I.
The area we shot at was definitely nice and well lit, but there's a lot going on with the building and people in the area so it was nice to just crop that all out. There are full body shots a plenty by other photographers that swarmed her, so I focused on these concentrated portraits, which I'm fond of doing anyway. ^^
