Description
All my colouring effort has gone into -somethingelse- and left me too lazy to colour other stuff. Hence this.

Actually, doing things in black and white made me realise two things:

1) Wanda's gothy-witchy-leather things are the best things to draw in ink.
2) I might be sort of, a little bit, ever so slightly completely in love with Lance's skin colour. It's juuuuuuust noticeably darker than the others'. Hispanic, I guess. Alvers... Alverez? Not than much of a leap. Why didn't they just make him Alverez? It still fits in that awful pun, only slightly harder to find.

Although the original Avalanche was Greek, Lance is sort of a merger of that guy and Rictor, who had similar powers and was from Mexico (and bisexual but that's for another time) ... I believe. So giving Lance an obviously Hispanic name (rather than a corrupted one) wouldn't be too far away from canon. Not that Evo was too concerned with that.

Also, can you spell Alverez as Alveres? My four years of studying Spanish a school tells me "No, it would sound slightly different" but that was Spanish Spanish rather than American Spanish. And I'm sure I've seen Lopez spelled Lopes. It makes it too close to Alvers to not annoy me.

The little comic thing started life in my head as something entirely more serious - the idea that Pietro's superspeed would force blood out of a wound faster than normal and pose a higher risk. It depends on whether or not Pietro's blood congeals faster than normal. It also requires it to be set before Mutants are outed since I'm sure Pietro would flaunt his powers in any other situation.

Transliteration from Chicken Scratch Cursive:

Lance: Why'd you let Matthews beat you up? Why didn't you just run away?
Pietro: *sob*

Pietro: Waah! He'd have noticed my powers, Lance! I had to let him! And now my superspeed is making my nose bleed non-stop! Help me, Lance! I don't wanna die!!!

Lance: Tro, stop overreacting. You can't die from a nosebleed.
Pietro: You sure?
Lance: Yes.
Pietro: I still think you should call my father or something.

Lance: No. Now go stick your head in the sink for a while and you'll be fine.
Pietro: But...

Lance: I'm not listening to you being dramatic again.
Pietro: *faints from blood loss)

Lance: Pietro?... Okay, I'll go call your dad. Where's your cell? ... Tro?
