I lay in my bed, lost in thought but also feeling restless. I hadn't seen much of my friends lately, and this was quite upsetting. Things had been quiet of late, perhaps far too quiet. I'm sure that was about to change. It couldn't happen quick enough as too much downtime was a bit of annoyance for me. I cracked the door open and heard what I was expecting. "Get ready for battle, ULAS comes!" came 1006's voice from out of the silence. A battle was exactly what I needed. The blood heated in my veins.

Battle was about to begin, so I could not stop to think about who or what exactly this ULAS was. That would come later, if there were a later. I transformed directly into my sailor form, ready for anything. Today would not be the day to have my hammer as a mere decoration on my choker. It changed size and materialized into my left hand.

"Get everything you need," I told myself. I went into a corner of my room, picking up a pouch of healing herbs. I placed it on my hip. I dug around in the straw until I found my shield. I would need it, if not only for myself. My allies would depend on me, and I would not let them down. "Today will be a change from the norm, for either good or bad." So it begins.
