I just had this intuition that big red eyes would shine in the darkest corner--- a kind of Kthulu beast thing... GIANT squid-like grottesque thing...

Um... the perspective makes see to the front for much things you put in the laterals the "main part" is already done.

So only if you put something that interrups vision or you put some space in between and/or you add something in first plane to make perspective. what you draw in the walls is almost irrelevant. (Because the relevant part is the center of the perspective)

Things you can put there...

"Hey, see that feet of Godzilla"
[no further explanation is needed]

"Constantine is going to get some trouble"
[a first plane on the left of a coat of a cool-smoking guy, or even only the hand with the cigarrete]

with the variant

"Two Jehova-witness are going to get trouble"
[two happy-bibled and inocent are going to go really bad]

"Two realities in one place"
[a metro station (seeing the rail from the waiting part, for example) in first plane with a hole that it's the center part of your drawing, someone looking at the person of the light from the station]
