Ahhh, magnificent specimen! As I believe, the black barn owl has a one in one million condition called melanism ^.^ only three currently in existence in Great Britain and those are all in captivity. Beautiful picture!!!

I visited a medieval  festival, and had contact with a falconer and his birds, owls, eagle owls and Adler.
