Edit: Changed a few things, still not perfect but better I think. XD I've just accepted that he needs a short chair for this pose, it doesn't really work with a tall one. Maybe it's Ciel's chair. ;D

I like the textures you used in here, makes the shading pop out!
Only nitpick is wondering about the rest of the chair they're sitting in, I can't tell if the leg is going through the back or around the side.
I understand that it's supposed to be a side view of the chair and that they're a pretty tall and lean character, but I wonder about the curve of the chest and back. Depending on the height of the back of the chair that would allow for the desired balancing pose, the back shoulder/arm would potentially be more in view to accommodate for having to reach around the width of the back of the chair. This may cause the character to potentially lean forward more or arch their back a bit so that they're more resting against the back of the chair vs. the chair going into their ribs.
I can also see where the curve of the back might be obscured by the front arm too though.
