Alter Ego was one of the characters who really showed that Dangan Ronpa is set in the future, and not modern days, and that's one of the reasons why I like her the most. For she's the only one of the group who isn't human, but instead is an advanced Computer AI. She's almost like Cortana in Halo, but less powerful and more cuter!
