Originally I wanted to excercise with my tablet and Photoshop, drawing Anime-style, something I haven´t quite managed to master over the past decades. During this, I created a new character - more by accident, putting together styles of three different artists who´s work I really like. I screwed up big time, until I decided to try out a new pencil setting for Photoshop brushes I downloaded from here

and it is EXCELLENT! It wasn´t me at all; it was the wrong brush settings. So thanks to the awesome digital pencil for Photoshop CS6 by John, aka Andantonius

I could finally create the style I have been trying to draw for so long. So if my digital stuff is rubbish, it is no longer because of the tools

Anyway, I had so much fun with the new pencil, that I spent the whole day drawing with it, trying it out. In the end, I had this little cutie up there and I thought "hey, you created a new OC!" - then I went for dinner and did some more other drawing stuff and now, after a couple of hours, I looked at her and realised, it had been Kyoko with different hairstyle and without ears. To be sure, I added the ears and Kyoko´s hair - and voilá: young, but Kyoko

Oh well, after four years of "the sexy cat girl from outer space" it looks like I can draw her in all sorts of styles, even if I am planning to draw something else - I have decided to file this under "success" anyway, even if it is cheated
