As far as "semi realism" goes you have succeeded, but you should note that the ratio here is still90 percent anime 10 percent "realism" and no one can critique you in good faith until your exact objective is clear.

I not only like the drawing but I believe you are awesome not only for the wonderful artist you are but because of your pure kindness, I 'm not saying I can see through your drawings into your personality, I'm not telepath or anything but as I aproached the end of page I could see how kindly and softly you answered every comment even with a "smile" and shallowly in naiveness giving thanks for an appreciation of your work...ah...Hope you understand what I said and I hope is not too long I'm rather confusing if write too much ^^ I really really like your drawing, I hope this comment doesn't suck... A god I just love Nagato is my favorite character of all the series Iยดve seen or read so far... And they have been plenty believe me Iยดve seen the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya anime series,(hoping for a second season), read the manga which it was a great disapointment (except of nagato obviously) and read the light novels availables from the first one to the 9 th aww I really want to read the 10 th, I think I read them for many reasons :I really like to see the original product, make sure I 'm not missing anything, I really like the way of writhing I was captured by it and I really wanted to know everything about nagato cause I read on wikipedia sth about a date of nagato AND I WAS TOTALLLY FIRED UP BY IT! So I read them and love them I guess I read them all in one month and became rather anxious and annoying the rest of the year till finaly they gave out the last volume, the best of all I was (not really sure) the first south american who knew of this series, LEARN the hare hare yukai, demand for ther products which at the moment they did not have here and search like crazy for doujins and videos amv mad on youtube even if I didn't understand a thing cause at that time I had no clue of japanese (the language) right now I'm going to the university anex to study japanese! Ah men I just realised I dropped a lot of words in the keyboard... sorry... too much oopsie I let myself went too far with the flow again... hope is not too odd I'm relatievly new with this so sorry,... is just that I really like your drawings

And no worries ;D I can see the enthusiasm in your words in how much you love Yuki as much as I do XD!! Usually, I'd have a crush on anime girls, but not as long as Yuki. She is now and had been my personal favorite ever since I met her ;w; I love Yuki so much that, if there's any chance she existed, I'd go through all means to marry her XD;;; (Yes foolish thoughts indeed, but this is what I will really do XD)

I really love the sketchy look and the pose too (kawaii ness *w*) but i think you can improve on the anatomy and the proportion of her hand. It does look slightly off. And more details on her hand like fingernails will be nice

well infact we can see in the series the cover of many of the books, in wikipedia you can see which are those and in a chapter in which kyon is out bringing a heater for suzumiya haruhi, who takes advantage of the situation dreesing up mikuru in everything she desires to photograph, we can also apreciate the reading velocity of nagato as she finishes a book and takes another one from the literature club room shelf or bookstore acting as a sensor as asahina is forcefully changed into weird outfits by the supreme haruhi. Hope that answers your doubt. You may appreciate my fan base in haruhism though I like much more nagato yuki yess! anyone who love her must read the light novels! you may find them on the internet as I did. ^^

Well im more of a Yuki Fan than any other character and the reason i dont check out Manga cause i look books with words only manga i own is from .hack cause its .hack :/
But i never really noticed what books she was reading just seemed like she never got anywhere i see i missed somethings in the series i should re-watch a few more times heh
as for the LN i got them bookmarked somewhere just need to find time to read through them

I think I liked your first better... maybe because the colors of the uniform were a little less flat and the hair was a little brighter(I do like some bright colors. ^.^), otherwise it looks great.

Yeah I have to admit, I really slacked on the coloring for this piece. Concentrated more on fixing the outlook of the style 
The previous one took me 5 hours +, this one took me 2 hours + XD I suppose that explains huh

About the nose(read in another comment), it may look off because the left side is a little dark/wide... Maybe if you soften it some it'll look better? I dunno, now that I think about it, maybe that's not it... I hate noses(I don't [always] hate being able to smell though). >.<
