Re-submitting it, because while DA managed to fix its film bug and process some of the afflicted films, mine was not among those. They said the only way to fix it is to re-upload it =_=====================================================
Update! Re-submitting this because I recently discovered that After Effect's standard framerate for importing TGA files is 30fps. No wonder the timing felt weird to me!
Anyway, I fixed that, and now present to you the actual final result of 15 weeks of work
Finished my horse short!
That only took 15 long weeks X_x
It now has a title. It is the ancient Greek word for "horse" and the modern Greek word for "horse": Ἵππος άλογο
Horse evolution, get it?
Eohippus --> Merychippus --> Equus ferus przewalskii (Przewalski's Horse)
100% animated & composited using Toon Boom Harmony. The backgrounds were done in photoshop.

Well the prof loved it. My whole class loved it. The first creature became the mascot of that class and we would all draw it on the board at the start of class in different themes. One week we had Star Wars, another week we had art history, and so on.
I had to go back and look up what grade I got, lol, but I got an A. Which at my school meant that I produced work in that class that was equal to the professional industry standard ;u;
This film actually made it into my school's annual show case of the best student work, and mine made it to the animation department awards and won runner-up against grad students and their thesis films. I am very proud of this film ;u;

Haha, these are fantastic! That Eohippus cracks me up, and the way it anticipates the leap into the Merychippus is a great touch. Other than a slight pop in the horse's front right leg, I don't see anything to critique. It's all so polished!

Well dang, that's what I get for trying to be cool with a language I don't speak XuX What is the difference in usage between either word? Is there an archaic word for "horse" in Greek? I would love to know!
